O’er cocoa farms in poverty

Young children work enslaved

For many hungry mouths to feed

Across those churning waves

Chocolate! Chocolate!

Blood’s shed for growing thee

To drop the cost we’ll cut our loss

Eyes turned from slavery!

O’er cocoa farms children slave

Bought from impoverished homes

Though Mars could pay a living wage

Higher price’s not condoned

Chocolate! Chocolate!

I won’t pay more for it

Promised fair trade means I overpaid

Now bring me that cheap shit!
